Cooking squid in batter:

Step 1: Cut the squid.

First of all, you need to clean it with a thin film and wash the squid carcasses well under cold running water. Then we soak them in cold water for half an hourand then dry and cut into rings, thick about 4-6 mm.

Step 2: Cook the batter.

In my opinion, there is nothing easier than making batter, but in itself it is simply universal: you can fry anything in it - from onions to fish, etc ... So, we separate the yolk from the eggs from the eggs, and beat the last in a bowl with a whisk, add salt and pour water, mix lightly and start pouring flour in portions, constantly and quickly stirring with a spoon or whisk until a homogeneous mass without lumps is formed.

Step 3: Cook the squid in batter.

We put on a medium heat to heat a deep pan, pour vegetable oil. Dip each squid ring into the batter on both sides, after which we spread them and fry them in a pan. Fry on both sides until golden brown.

Step 4: Serve the squid in batter.

Put the finished rings on a paper towel in order to remove all excess oil. Then shift them to a serving dish. Serve with light vegetable salad and french fries. Serve white wine as an aperitif. Enjoy your meal!
