Step 1: Prepare the chicken for baking.

For cooking, you can use as a whole chicken, and any part of it (fillet, breast, drumsticks, thighs, backs). Any quarters are perfect for baking. It is reasonable to do this: if this is some special occasion or holiday, then you can cook the whole carcass: it looks very solemn and beautiful, but on a typical day, butchering is also tasty, and it cooks many times faster. Rinse the chicken well in water, then dry it with paper towels. Next, in a bowl, mix olive oil and dry ground paprika until uniform. Salt the chicken evenly and pepper with black pepper, rubbing these spices a little into the skin. Next, we connect the legs together with culinary thread, and we wrap the wings behind the back. When this is done, put the chicken on a cutting board or in a bowl and grease it with a mixture of oil and paprika with a culinary brush. If you don’t have one, then you can rub the meat directly with this mass.

Step 2: Cook the potatoes and mushrooms.

Young potatoes are recommended to be baked directly in the peel. If you don’t have one, peel the tubers and wash them thoroughly. Young vegetables should also be washed, but with a special brush or the rough side of a clean sponge. We clean the onion and also wash it. Soak the mushrooms for 10 minutes in a bowl of water, then rinse them and drain the liquid. All these ingredients cut into 4 parts. If the potato is large, then it must be cut into 6 parts. Mix all these ingredients in a bowl and salt to taste.

Step 3: Bake the dish.

We lay the chicken on the grill and send it to the oven, heated to 200 degrees. Below it, it is necessary to install a pan or baking sheet, on which fat from the chicken will drain. If you do not have a lattice, then lay the chicken directly on a baking sheet. Bake meat for 30 minutes. After we take out the pan and put potatoes with onions and mushrooms on it and mix them well with fat. Add sprigs of rosemary. If you cook chicken on a baking sheet, then lay the products around it. We again send the baking sheet to the oven and bake the chicken dish another 30-40 minutes (maybe a little more, it all depends on your oven) until the potatoes and onions are tender. During baking, garnish several times to mix so that it is evenly baked. During cooking, the chicken can be periodically greased with olive oil. Yes, and for baking a side dish, you may need additional oil. And one more thing: if instead of the whole chicken you cook its parts, then they must be cooked on a baking sheet or in the form and immediately laid with a side dish. The baking time in this case is 40-45 minutes in total.

Step 4: Serve the chicken in the oven, baked with potatoes and mushrooms.
