Preparation of pearl salad with prunes:
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.Rinse the chicken eggs under a stream of cold running water, then pour water in a saucepan and put on a strong fire, after they boil, reduce the heat and cook for at least 8 minutes. After this, cool, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Remove crab sticks and cheese from the packaging and grate on a medium grater.
Step 2: start the prune.Sort the prunes, fill with cold water for about 2 hours. After which, drain the water, remove the seeds, put quarters or halves of kernels, previously peeled walnuts in the formed recesses.
Step 3: Laying the layers.Lay the salad in layers, in the following order: The first layer is a grated egg; The second layer is crab sticks; The third layer is hard cheese; The fourth layer is prunes stuffed with walnuts; The fifth layer is crab sticks; The sixth layer is cheese, then on top of egg white, and around the salad, pre-grated egg yolk. Grease all layers with mayonnaise.
Step 4: Serve the Pearl and Prune Salad.Leave the salad to infuse for 30 minutes, so that all layers are well saturated with mayonnaise. Then garnish with sprigs of fresh herbs, dill or parsley. Such a salad can be served to the festive table as a separate dish, or you can start it with a cake, then it will perform 2 functions at once: salad and snacks. Good appetite!
- - In order for the prunes to be softer and more tender, you can immediately after filling, put it in a saucepan, pour water and cook for about 10 minutes over high heat, then on average for another 5 minutes.
- - Crab sticks can be replaced with crab meat, the taste will be even more intense.
- - It is best to use mayonnaise diet and lubricate the layers in not too large portions so as not to interrupt the taste of the salad ingredients.
